that there are no composers, and composers that complain that no
singers are willing to sing new songs. The critics echo this disenchantment
as the complete failure of our music. So I say: this music is the
answer and it is full of surprises. Lu Horta is a restless composer
and a mature singer. Her work is the antidote to laziness and mental
weakness of the creative mind. She is part of a generation that
wants to be heard regardless of any fashionable tendencies. It is
a relief to run into people like this: creative, willing and aware.
